30 years of causal AI for marketing.

Frank Buckler started in AI in 1994 — when the term wasn't yet an industry category and most AI was rule-based systems. His PhD in Causal AI for Marketing was published in 1998. He has been operationalizing causal inference for marketing strategy ever since.

Before founding SUPRA in 2008, Frank spent 9 years as a corporate marketing director and global strategy lead, and worked as a management consultant at Simon-Kucher. The combination gives keynotes a rare quality: scientific rigor framed in language CMOs and boards actually act on.

He is the author of 5 books on causal marketing, pricing, customer experience, brand strategy, and the limits of KPI thinking. He has won the ESOMAR Award for AI Insights Innovation six times.
